A Special BKC Column
BKC-IH is one of the biggest language schools in Russia, and we are proud to have lots of teachers from all over the world working here. Despite the fact that every school is different from one another one, they all are BKC schools. It's such a shame that people have little opportunities to mix with each other, to keep up the news and to learn more about the company. Therefore, starting from this issue of Unbound we are going to have a new column on school's overview. Here we will try to talk about BKC schools' everyday life; the way we deal with problem situations; about the administrative staff and their cooperation with the English-speaking staff. Here you will be able to find out yourselves, about every BKC School from the teachers working there.
The staff of any company is the most important part of it, and we hope that you will tell us your likes and dislikes, what should be changed and improved. By creating this column we expect it to become another information exchange between us. For March we have the following questions for 3 of our current teachers:
1. How long have you been working at this school?
2. How do you like your classes and students there?
3. What is your overall impression of the school?
4. Do you get all the necessary assistance from the school's personnel?
5. Have you got communication enough not to feel lonely?
6. What do you like and dislike there most?
7. Are you satisfied with the resources/facilities provided?
And here are their answers:
Daniel Humphries, Electro school

Lorraine Lanteigne, Novogireevo school
1. 4 months
2. very much
3. well organized, clean, friendly
4. yes
5. yes
6. I like students most
7. yes
I have been working at Novogireevo for four months. I have enjoyed my classes there very much. The students are enthusiastic, co-operative and talkative so communication while teaching has been a pleasure. We laugh, share stories and ask questions - all of the elements necessary in any learning experience.
The school at Novogireevo is clean, and the classrooms are comfortable. The co-ordinators and organizers of the school are friendly, helpful and always prepared to assist me. They are constantly on hand and I never feel abandoned.
The only problem at the school is we do not have immediate access to a photocopier which does present a problem. Other than this I am quite satisfied with the school. In fact this school could easily be the "example" school for all of the schools I have taught at.
